Dear Membership,
The all new Board of the TLC has been working hard to plan a a great series of events for all tastes as well as including family friendly events. We respectfully ask that you RSVP events by the deadline provided so that we may better serve you, our membership. Over the next several months you can expect to see a wide range of events leading up to some of our signature TLC events such as our Fund raiser Talent show, our Holiday party and Elections Event. As always it is YOU the member that makes TLC the success it has been in our community for almost 8 years. If there is any way we can improve, please do not hesitate to contact a board member.

March/ April Events
- Sat. March 26th 2011 Happy Hour at Barrio Latino. Come out to one of South Miami’s newest hot spots. Join the TLC at the bar at 7pm for cocktails. We will provide munchies for dues paid members only. Afterward have some dinner or try out one of the other new spots in South Miami like Georges which is right next door!

See you there! - Southwood Dance Show Extravaganza! If you have not been to the Southwood Dance show, you have simply not seen a dance show! This year proves to be even more exciting! TLC members Richard Webster and Andrea Floyd Beck wrote the script for the 2011 NATIONAL DANCE CHAMPIONS. That is right…see the JR National dance champions! This is not your average dance team. Also staring our own Richard Webster. So come out and see this years production So You Think You Are Smarter Than a Middle Schooler.Tickets MUST be pre-ordered as it will sell out!
Cost TBA but will be under $10.

TLC Recommended Events:
(The following events are recommended to all TLC members however, are not official events. However, we are looking to get people to each of them. So let us know and we will set up the meeting spot for TLCers based on interest.)
Our Own Art Bivins and the Cool Ole Dudes will be performing at several locations for St. Patty’s Day fun on or around the holiday!
- The Emerald Society is having an event at Ponce De Leon Park Sat. March 12th and Art and the Dudes will be performing from 1-1:45pm. cost free
- On March 17th catch the Dudes for their Seventh appearance at the Sunset Tavern from 6pm til. 9pm! It simply is not St. Patty’s in Miami without the Dudes!
- Finally on Sat. March 19th see the Dudes perform and have a nice dinner for $20 at St. Stephan’s Episcopal Church on MacFarlane Road in Coconut Grove .
Note the third event is a fund raiser.
Sun. March 27th at 2pm see Chicago at the JCC Alper Theater.

Cost is just $20 and note this is a Debra Ginsberg production so the cost is incredible!!!!!!!
