Dear Membership:

It has been a very busy month behind the scenes for the Theater Lovers Community but as we launch into our Fall activities we bid a fond farewell to a summer of great accomplishment.

First and foremost, we will be making a slight name change starting in December.  The Theater Lovers Community will soon be known as the Theater and Arts Lovers Community.  The board has decided that this better represents and organization which is comitted to backing all the arts in South Florida.  Don’t worry we are still the TLC just better!

Now to upcoming events:

Fri. Oct. 14th Come out and support our great friend Ms. Amy Alvarado in her new show, Cabarlesque.

Cabarlesque is a musical revue starring Amy Alvarado and Nelson Polanco.

The show is at the Little Haiti Cultural Center Theater

If you haven’t had a chance to see Amy perform, you really need to.  She is truly a fine local talent and great friend to our club!

Our Next Happy Hour is set for Sat. Oct. 15th 2011  at Fox’s Lounge in South Miami.  Come in and see the all new Fox’s lounge.  Fox’s has been a stable in south Florida for 65 years and is the 2nd oldest bar in Miami.  Come take a step back in time and enjoy the great food and drinks along with the ambiance of a bygone era!  The fun starts at 6pm sharp!  See you there! Munchies for members!
