Happy Holidays!!! As the final month of the year in upon us that means it is time for one of our premiere events our holiday party and elections. In order to prepare for what we know will be an outstanding event, we have had to change the date for our holiday party to Friday Dec 21st 2012.We are confident that you will truly enjoy the venue for this years event and the fun that we have planned! Please see the info below and RSVP today. We need to budget for the event and having an accurate head count is so very important. This years party is being held at Chu’s restaurant in beautiful Coral Gables. Chu’s is a truly unique place. We are certain you are going to have a great time. We wish to take this time to remind you that club dues are due. About 90% of the membership is due to pay dues this month. Membership cost for the 2012-2013 season is $20 for the entire year! If you are in doubt as to if your dues are due…simply respond to this email and we can let you know. We have some outstanding programs planned for this season which will include…Our monthly happy hours with free munchies for members, concerts, wine tastings and of course our annual Charity Talent Show in the spring. This years holiday party will include free food for all paid members and Karaoke. You pay for what you drink. You may either pay at the party or if you wish to pay in advance and not worry about it you may send your dues to the address below. This is our major membership drive so we will be charging for guests at the same price $20 but that includes membership for a year. Children are free!!!
On another note, we wish to thank Sarah Gerber, Lisa Walkowitz Cerino and Kevin Cerino for organizing such a successful Broward Event!!!! 17 TLCers turned out for this years Renaissance Fair! Great job Broward!
We started the month off with an absolutely perfect event at the home of Adam and Hanna…an event which we plan to repeat early in 2013. We have been to some outstanding happy hour locations this year thanks to the hard work of Ms. Georgina Marrero. If you are not coming out regularly to the happy hours, you are missing out on some of south Florida’s finest cuisine and remember the food is included in your membership dues! We have a fine group of regulars but we would love our happy hour group to grow…so come on out and bring a friend!
We have a first class website and we would love our membership to use it. Sarah Gerber our webmaster generally has new info on the website within hours of her getting it so for up to date info check it out. The website can be found at the bottom of this newsletter.
