March Newsletter
Feb. was one of the most successful months the TLC has ever had. Memberships have been coming in from new members and old alike. This newsletter is filled with important information not only about the upcoming incredible events but also some general information that you as a member should be aware of. As we said Feb. was an exciting month for the club starting with a wonderful piano recital held at the home of Adam Aleksander and Dr. Hanna Cyba. The board wishes to express a very special thank you to both Adam and Hanna for opening up their home to us. It was a very special night.
On another note, We are both very happy and sad to hear that longtime member and Board member Georgina Marerro will be moving to Washington DC. Georgina is an exceptional board member and an even greater person. We wish her great success in Washington and look forward to future visits to Miami. Best of luck!
We are very excited to announce that Mr. Santiago Brenlla will be stepping in as our interim Public Relations Dir. Santiago has been a very active member over the last several months and plans to bring some new and exciting ideas to this club. He looks forward to meeting you all over the next few months. Welcome a board!
The next three months are going to be filled with outstanding events. Please mark your calendars now for April 5th and May 31st. First off on April 5th we have a very special evening planned. Please join us for a special new happy hour experience. On Sat. April 5th 2014 join the TLC at the American Legion Post 31 lounge for the Music of Clarissa Humm, food in the all new American Legion Grille and the best drink prices in Town! You will not want to miss this musical event. Come hungry! Member price is just $6 and non members are $9!
On May 31st we will be holding our 10th annual TLC Talent Show for Charity! This is going to be the best yet! More info will follow in future special news emails but save the date!!! You will not want to miss this special 10th annual event!
Finally, If you have not renewed your membership, now is the time to do so. We have to file all our state paperwork for our license next month and as you know…it is not cheap! We have been working hard to step up the level of events this year and that costs money as well. In an effort to keep the price of membership to a super low $20, it is important to make sure your dues are up to date.

The Cool O’l Dudes will appear at St. Stephens in The Grove for St. Patty’s Day! Fun starts at 5:30 at a cost of $20 a person. Note this is not an official TLC event but one we recommend.

Join the TLC for a wonderful night of music, food and fun at the American Legion Post 31 lounge. Hear the musical stylings of Clarissa Humm and enjoy great munchies! Cost is $7 for TLC members and $9 for guests.
Event starts at 6pm and goes till 8.
Wed. and Thurs. May 14 or 15th
Join the TLC for an evening of dance. The Southwood Dance Extravaganza “Gone With the Dance Show” will take the stage. This years show written by our own Richard Webster. Don’t miss a chance to see the national champion dance troop perform numbers from Hollywood’s Past. Special TLC member price to be announced soon!!! Please reserve ticket ASAP as space will be limited and both shows will sell out!
