The board wishes to give the following updates to you about this years event:
First off, we were contacted by Joseph Sosa the Chair of the Mami Dora Foundation. In an act of overwhelming generosity his foundation has made the decision that all money raised for Dora this year is to be donated to Mike Martinez’ children. TLC leadership met and have decided that we will name Mami Dora a sponsor of this years event. We will still take any additional donations you wish to make to the Family however, we wish you to know that all proceeds from ticket sales will now go to the Martinez family. Proceeds from the raffle will still be directed to The USO. If you should wish to make a personal donation to the Dora Foundation reps will be on hand to let you know how.
We are blessed to announce that this year we will have two featured acts:
First off, we will have our only two time champion, Anielya Wells-Miller on hand to entertain you throughout the evening.
Next, it is with great happiness that I can announce that Clarissa Humm will be joining us and performing for you. We can not thank Clarissa enough for taking time out from her busy schedule. If you have had the chance to hear her perform in the past, you know how great she is. If you have not heard her, you are in for a treat!
Lastly, We are extending the early registration price to any checks post marked by Monday May 4th. Please take a moment and make your reservations and send your check in for this special event. Remember to indicate which meal you want. (See Below).
Theater Lovers Community 11th annual Charity Talent Show to benefit the USO and The Mami Dora Foundation.
Date: Sat. May 30th 2015.
Time: Event starts at 5:45pm
Evening Includes: Your choice of the following entrees— Roast Pork Loin, Chicken Marsala or a Vegetarian Pasta
All dinners include—chefs choice of either potato or rice, salad, mixed vegetables, dinner rolls and dessert.
Each person will receive a goodie bag.
Along with our Talent Show this years event will feature the Musical talents of our special guests Anielya Wells-Miller and Clarissa Humm.
On hand to spread his special breed of fun will be balloon artist Corney The Clown.
Authentic World War 2 display of Artifacts.
Our wonderful TLC silent auction.
Cash Bar at the American Legion Bar with the best prices in Dade County!
And of course our hosts Richard Webster and Art Bivins of the COD.
Plus lots of other surprises!
