We wish to start by saying thanks to all who came out to our movie event. It was a lot of fun and we sure had our fill of free TLC popcorn. We plan another movie day soon! We have two great Broward events coming soon. First, join the TLC for a Broward ArtWalk in Hollywood. Then in August we are planning a Happy Hour in Hallandale but we have a bit more planning to do on that one. Both events are in Southern Broward in the hopes that some Dade people will attend. Our very important event is set for July 25th 2015 at the South Miami Legion. There we will be presenting our checks raised at this years Talent Show to the deserving charities. Please come out and show support on this important evening. The cost is just $5 for members and $7 for non-members. Food will be provided as well as music performed by our own Art Bivins. On July 20th we are invited to join the American Legion SAL organization for an evening of Darts and Cocktails. Lastly, we wish to address membership and membership dues. Each month we receive requests for more events and more club benefits. This is great and we love your communication however, many of the people writing us need to pay their yearly dues. $24 a year makes us one of the cheapest organizations in South Florida however, to bring you top programming we need everyone to meet their obligation. Therefore, we will have to crack down on people eating at happy hours and the such if their dues are not up to date. If you are in question, simply reach out to us and we will let you know when your dues are up.

After dinner we will begin the art walk, which runs from 7PM-10PM…Here is a brief description:
Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk
Enjoy an enchanted evening strolling quaint, tree-lined sidewalks while being serenaded by the sounds of a jazz saxophone, or the soft strings of a violin or harp. Take a moment to look over the shoulder of an artist painting and visit the art galleries and businesses showcasing local, regional and international artwork.

Non official event but we are all invited to a night of darts at the American legion. Fun starts at 5:30 and there will be food and a prize given. Cost is $5. We will be playing cricket and all skill levels are invited.

Join us for our monthly happy hour at American Legion Post #31 from 5:45- 8:45pm for food, music and fun. Cost to members is just $5. Non-members are $7. Note: we will be presenting the checks to the charities please make every effort to come out and show your support.

TLC Bids Farewell to Foxes: As many of you know Foxes Sheron Inn Will close after just a few months shy of 70 years. We plan a farewell party there towards the end of the month. Please watch for more info coming soon!
