February 2017 Newsletter
We hope this newsletter finds you all well. We have several great events in the month of Feb. and March. Please set aside some time and enjoy the great programs only TLC can bring you. Your response to renew this year has been one of the best we have had in years. Our Board hopes it is due to the list of great events you see coming. About 75% of you have already renewed your 2017 membership. We can not thank you enough!!! Let’s see if by March we are close to 100%!!! This helps as it is near the point in the year in which we must renew our State License which is costly.
Although we have several great events planned, we can always use more ideas. Please send any ideas for an event to this email…who knows? You may be responsible for a new TLC tradition.
We look forward to seeing you all on Feb. 18th at the Legion for our Happy Hour!

Lastly, we wish to announce the start of another wonderful organization created to celebrate and patronize the arts. Friends of FIU Music is starting up. This wonderful organization celebrates music across all its many genres. Our club is honored to announce that two of our TLC board members,Ernesto Martinez and Richard Webster have been asked to sit on the board of this new exciting organization. An introductory one year membership is being offered at the incredible price of just $25 for the first year. The benefits and events are simply amazing.
