April 2018 Newsletter
I will start by wishing you all a Happy Easter and Happy Passover. Much thanks to everyone who came out for our St. Patty’s Day event. It was well attended and a great time was had by all. Later this month we have James Woolwine for our monthly Happy Hour. Please come out and show your support. It is this time of year when we turn our efforts to two things…renewal of our state license and our big charity Talent Show. First off, several members still owe their 2018 dues. Please make every effort to renew today as the cost of our state license is not cheap. We have had renewed interest in our Great Escape evening in Coral Gables so we will be planning it 100% in the summer. So keep an eye on our newsletter. We need a team so PLEASE RSVP your interest.
Now to the Talent Show…It is set for Sat. May 26th, 2018 at American Legion Post #31. We have already confirmed several great acts. Of course, your ticket includes a wonderful meal created by Chef Chris Cerone as well as our popular silent auction,50/50 raffle and entertainment all night, a goodie bag and of course the super prices at the Legion Bar. We will once again raise money for the USO and our friends at Dora. As you know, the tickets go very fast so please send your check today!
Sincerely,
The Board of the Theater Lovers Community
