January 2019 Newsletter

First off the Board of The Theater Lovers Community would like to extend a very Happy New Year 2019 to each and every one of you!  You are the reason we are here and we are excited to start off our 16th year with some very special events and goals to make TLC live up to your expectations.  Much thanks to all who came out for our Holiday Party. The food and entertainment were outstanding. Much thanks to Romanzza Italian Restaurant and Charter Flight. You both exceeded our expectations. In Jan. we have two spacial events…one Sat. a part. First off on Sat. Jan. 5th we have our monthly Happy Hour. This month we are pleased to have Mr. James Woolwine back to help us celebrate the New Year.  It has been a while since James has been with us and we are very excited.  The following Sat. a group will be going to the 3pm Show of Waist Watchers at the Miracle Theater in Coral Gables.  Please let us know if you wish to attend this event. 

Once again, it is renewal time!  If you have not paid your 2019 dues, now is the time. See renewal info at the bottom of this newsletter. We are excited to announce that Mr. John Morris will be our new club Secretary.  John replaces one of our best board members Ms. Elvira Duenas who is moving on to different things in 2019. Elvira was involved and outstanding and the board will miss you but we know you will stop by in the coming year to say hi!  John has been a great member of the organization for over a decade.  He has been a staple at our Talents Shows over the years and we expect he will be helpful in sparking up the Broward area again!  Welcome aboard John!  Well that’s all for now.  As you can see our 16th season is off to a rousing start!  See you in 2019!
