Dear Membership,
As always summer is a very busy time of year for TLC! This summer is certainly no exception! The months of July and August are especially filled with TLC events and we hope you will plan to include us in your summer plans.
In July we have a special TLC fundraiser planned. This event is called Cabaret Legionnaire and will include many of your favorite TLC performers. The cost of this special event ticket will be just $8 and will include food and entertainment. Think of it as a Happy Hour with some special twists. The event date is Saturday, July 13th, 2019 from 5:30 to 8:30. The event location is the American Legion Hall in South Miami. Please RSVP this event as soon as possible so we have a good head count!
Later in July, we have a Karaoke night planned as well as our Great Escape event! That is right we finally seem to have the makings of a team…now we just need to agree on a date…Please email your availability if you want to join us.
In August we’re planning a special evening with our dear Aneilya Wells-Miller who will be leaving for FSU to pursue her musical dreams! Later in August, we have a country-western night planned. We start it all off in June with a Patriotic happy hour compliments of our own Mr. Art Bivins, this Saturday, June 8th, 2019!
Earlier this week TLC had the pleasure of presenting the 2019 TLC Spirit award to Miss. Addison Stone! Addison is a very talented young lady who is pursuing acting! Watch out Hollywood, here comes Addison!
There are still a few of you who have not sent in there TLC 2019 dues. Please take a moment to take care of this. As you can see we have a very filled schedule coming and your $24 dues is still among the cheapest in the Miami-Dade and Broward area. Your dues enable us to better plan for the 2nd half of our 2019 schedule and to bring you the best event possible. Remember attending just a couple of happy hours more than pays your dues back!
