October 2020 Newsletter

Dear Membership,

I want to start off by thanking everyone who came out for our September Happy Hour. It was a small turn out but a special one where TLC was able to thank some special people who work hard throughout the year to make sure we in TLC have such a great time. First off, a special thanks went to our own Art Bivins who braved Covid and came out to perform for us. As always, he was wonderful! We also recognized our regular bartender Donna who has worked just about every event we have had at the Legion. We are truly blessed to work with both these outstanding individuals. In October we will have a duel hosted the event along with the Sons of the American Legion and it is a special one! On Sat. Oct. 24th we will have a Karaoke Halloween event. This event is free to members whos dues are up to date however, should you bring a guest, we will be charging $10. We will accept dues from any member who would like to pay their dues at the event. We will also start taking members who wish to pay their dues for next year early.

Karaoke at the Legion
Halloween party
food, 50/50 raffle and Basket of Halloween Joy!
Costumes are not required but Oh so much fun!
5:30pm to 8:30pm

We are doing outstanding on dues this year…in fact it may be our best renewal year in more than a decade. There are still a few of you left to renew. Well Get on with it! We have great things planned for the end of the year in TLC!
