Dear Membership,
Happy almost summer! Let’s start off by saying much thanks to Madame G. for her outstanding karaoke show! This summer we will kick off our first ever summer concert series! We are very excited about this as we welcome back some old acts while enjoying some new acts as well. We start it all off Memorial Day weekend, Sat. May the 29th at 6 pm with the return of our old friend Mr. James Woolwine. If you have heard James then you know how good he is! If you have not heard James then it is time you do! In June we welcome back Mr. Art Bivins for a Caribbean, Calypso, Luau night! July will be super special as we Welcome back Crimson and Son for a special encore concert!!!! In August we are looking to bring the incomparable Madame G. Back to our stage and we are in negotiation with patriotic music group Voices Of Freedom Music and hope to have a true red, white and blue concert early in August!
Interested in getting a TLC team together for Family Feud? Let us know. Summer Darts League will be up and running soon! If interested let us know! Darts will be held several Thursdays this summer!
As you can see much is going on this summer in TLC. All we need to make it all complete is YOU!
July marks our 18th anniversary as an organization giving back to Miami-Dade and Broward counties. In June we will once more award the TLC Spirit award to a deserving young person who excels in the Arts. This year’s winner will be in the discipline of Drama and Theater. The winner’s name will be published in the June TLC newsletter.
We have once more renewed our license for 2021-2022. This is a costly process for any club. Please consider your $24 renewal as soon as possible. The club is growing and we are proud of it but as we all know the cost of everything is going up. Your dues are the primary way we cover our costs.
